Traditionally tracking of garments had been a major issue as there were no tags that could withstand the extreme temperatures of the process. With the development of RFID technology there are specially designed heat resistant laundry tags which can be clipped on to the garment or even be stitched into the fabric. Can withstand temperatures of 300 °C - 400 °C.
